Analysis of The Wrong Turn 1

The Wrong Turn 1 
I will be analyzing 'The Wrong Turn 1',Straight away there is a tracking shot being used, to show scenery and the location, that is then closed off at a shot of two people rock climbing, there is slow horrific diagetic music used through out this. There is a high shot looking down on the people as they near the top on the mountain, also there is a high shot used when the male has reached the top of the mountain, There is Shot reverse shot used when the two people are talking to each other and there is also a close up of the female as she tries to get up. There is a loud bang as the women looses balance, The male goes to check out what is going on, the shot is fixed on the female as she waits for the male to come back. There is a close up of the rockson the mountain, as the man screams and then there is a match on action from where the man puts his hand over the mountain. Instantly there is loud diagetic sounds as the female is being pulled up by what is on top of the mountain, There is a wide shot used to show the woman trying to cut the rope that she is attached to, in order to get away from the creature that is on top of the mountain. There is a high shot of the female as she falls from the mountain and then there is a low angle shot to show her on the ground, once she is on the ground there is a non -  diagetic sounds used of screaming and shouting also there is various cuts between the expression on the females face to the forest scenery. There is then a tracking shot of the female trying to run away from something in the forest through out this there is diagetic music being used to create tention and to build suspence, also there is an over the shoulder shot and a shot from the creatures view point of the female. The diagetic music stops as the woman does this also creates tension, also there is  a wide shot to show where the female. The creature is revealed to the female as she turns around, and there is a horror sound effect as she turns.The female then tries running away again but gets trapped, as the creature walks up to her there is a shot reverse shot and a match on action when the creature put its hand on her face. The female tries to get the creatures hand of her and to escape yet again, There is a then a strange noise and the camera changes angle, it faces towards the mountains where there are other creatures, there is a close up used to show what they look like and what they are wearing. There is then a shot of the female stabbing one of the creatures and running towards an edge of a cliff, where there is a waterfall, there is a low angle shot to show the waterfall, as the female is running towards the waterfall one of the creatures starts screaming at her as he tries to catch her.
